Tucson is surrounded by some of America’s most beautiful and scenic landscapes, mountain ranges, and the Sonoran desert. The county seat of Pima County, Tucson has a lot to offer from outdoor activities, mountain treks, to desert trails. A vibrant community of white anglo-Americans and a mix of other American races make Tucson a home to nature and adventure lovers who want to belong to a loving, God-fearing community.

Tucson is a Southern Arizona city located in the Pima County. It is home to the internationally acclaimed University of Arizona. Tucson is home to wondrous plants, Saguaro cacti, and mountain animals. The city is a metro area with a strong economy and an accelerating employment growth.

Tucson has a cosmopolitan society composed  of non-hispanic whites, black and African Americans, native Americans, Asians, Hispanics and Latinos, as well as other races.

The white Americans make up the largest portion of the population, 47.2%. The city has an estimated population of 526,000,and has the lowest level of black and white segregation of all the other 100 metro areas. This makes Tucson a race-friendly city with a low rate of hate crimes.

The University of Arizona is located in Tucson along with other colleges, campuses,and institutes. Brookline College has one campus in Tucson, The University of Phoenix has four campuses and Northern Arizona University has one branch campus.

Students of the Tucson area attend public schools in the Tucson Unified School District ( TUSD). There are also other publicly funded charter schools with specialized curricula.

Tucson High School has a total of more than 6800 students, the highest enrollment in any secondary school in the US.

Tucson boasts many Christian churches of different sects: Baptist churches, Methodist churches, Roman-catholic churches, Pentecostal, non-denominational and almost all types of Christian Churches.
